These days he's more likely to be behind a keyboard than under a bonnet, but he still gets a kick out of a well-sorted engine bay and knows his way around a service manual.

When he's not writing about brake pads and roadworthy certificates, Dan's usually researching the latest in automotive tech or planning his next road trip through regional Victoria. He reckons the best part of the job is making car maintenance less confusing for everyday drivers – because nobody should feel lost when their mechanic starts talking about CV joints.
